Hello Anne, this is due to a site upgrade and member migration from a few years back that will no longer allow username doubles. Before this upgrade, this were permissible, but it’s no longer the case.
To rectify the issue, we simply changed your username to “anne-m” to distinguish your handle from others, which means you can now save changes to your profile.
Of course, if you prefer a different username, you are free to change it.
