For those having trouble logging in we have since learned that the issue is connected to saved bookmarks with the old login URL. Note that a new login page was implemented as a security measure to protect against bot-driven brute force attacks following the site invasion several weeks ago.

As an extra measure, we have added a message and a Sign In button on the 404 error page. (see attached screenshot) This allows users who have bookmarked the old login page to bypass the old URL and sign in using the new login URL even if they are redirected to this page.

That said, and to mitigate any frustration moving forward, I highly recommend the following:

1. Eliminate any old NEI bookmarks on your browsers
2. Save the new NEI login address
3. Then clear your cache to ensure there are no cookies stored from the old login path.
