Hi Natasha. I find “dogs” represent people to us in dreams and a German Shepherd would be a protective, loyal and hard-working person – does that relate to your father? He seems to be “getting to the root of the problem” with all the digging. Mushrooms are “decomposers” that break down the nutrients from dead organisms, so it feels to me as if you are sifting through past events and behaviors to create fertile soil in the now. Just in case any of that makes sense!
